Shovey

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 October 2026

Shovey keeps your game progress on your device. We run no accounts and no servers. Ads come from Google AdMob, which collects some data, and asks for your consent first where the law requires it.

What stays on your device

Your player name, coins, gems, unlocked cosmetics, settings and match stats are saved only on your device. Shovey has no accounts, no chat and no server of ours that receives this data. We do not collect it.

Advertising

Shovey shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect:

If you are in the UK or EEA, Shovey asks for your consent before any ad loads. You can change your choice any time in Settings › Privacy choices. On iOS, Apple asks whether Shovey may track you, and you can change that in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Google's use of this data is covered by its privacy policy and by how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Purchases

The Remove Ads subscription is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app only asks the App Store whether your subscription is active.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. For data held by Google through ads, use the controls above or Google's own tools. You can also contact us with any question about your rights under UK data protection law.

Children

Shovey is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Who we are

Shovey is made by Fosters Digital, run by Louis Foster in the United Kingdom. Fosters Digital is the controller of any personal data described in this policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
